I've varied from month to month in how much I like 3/4. Wierd, no? I like this couple a lot, it has potential. But I don't like who I used to be, and what others still are: Fans particularly of this couple; that can't spell, don't use grammar properly, and talk like this: 'lyk 3/4 is goood! rly, lyk itz so kute!1!' I actually used to talk like that... But ah, well... it's alright, in my opinion, if you use a bit of chat-like talking, but if you use a lot, it gets annoying. I used to be like that, too. ^^; But, luckily, I've grown a bit since then. So now I'm not as much of a n00b as I used to be. =D

Spending time on a board will make you change from a non-grammar using n00b to a god of the forums.

Well I love 3/4, and I've been pretty much all for it since Operation BEACH. And I'll have you all know that I always use proper Engrish.....uh, English.

I love 3/4, and I don't think I've ever been a closed-minded, chatspeak using n00b-ish fangirl of it.
And here's something rather interesting I figured out: BEACH isn't as 3/4-ful as you may think. CATS actually has the most proof out of any episode. I've been writing 3/4 proof down in a notebook for the re-vamp of my 3/4 site, and I already have 12 pages (or 6 pages double-sided) full of it. And I don't have large handwriting. o.o

wow 12 pages! but how can op: Cats have more than Beach? Beach is basically completly based on 3/4.. Oh wait I changed my avatar and also found the name of the operation.. its operation: Date i think. lol

I was pretty shocked when I figured that out too.
But CATS seems to have more in-depth 3/4-ness...I'd post ALL of what I got from it, but I really don't want to waste my time at the moment.

I think the 3/4-ness started when some-one thought, "Hm I think 3 and 4 would be a great couple" Then it spread to a website and then the CN magazine then to hundreds to thousands to millions eyes to bajillion eyes to AHH! The 3/4 curse is back from the center of the earth! I barried how come it won't STAY BARRIED! Ahh! Run for your life! And that is when 3/4 started. Oh wait which episode, Artic.

Hm, I think that Mr. Warburton probably had 3/4 in mind from the beginning.
You know, they make episodes a whole season at a time, and the first season of KND already had heavy 3/4 proof (OFFICE, ARCTIC, END). Even the series pilot had a bit of 3/4.

Perosnally, I think it is all a fan-inspired thing, and Mr. Warburton decided to use it, simply to please his fans.
People say that the pilot had 3/4, but I honestly can't see it. Yes, Four grabbed Three near the beginning. So what? I think that was just random, doesn't-mean-a-thing-ness.
The rest... yes, there was some 3/4 interaction, but I think just about most other couples had their share of interactions in season one.

The rest... yes, there was some 3/4 interaction, but I think just about most other couples had their share of interactions in season one. Well... I don't know. I'm not sure if this is me being close-minded or what, but after seeing only season 1 episodes on TV (with the exception of QUIET/RAINBOWS and maybe ZOO/PIANO) in the early summer of 2003 and having completely no awareness of or contact with the KND fandom, both my sister and I were convinced that there was something going on between Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4. We didn't just pull this out of nothing. For one, OFFICE is the only episode in season 1 that completely excludes members of the main five to focus on just two, Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4. And that episode is pretty proof-erific. Numbuh 4, who claims to hate girls, is willing to rescue Numbuh 3, willing to listen to what she tells him to do, and willing to save her at the expense of himself. Sure, she's his teammate, but from his perspective, she's the epitome of "obnoxious". Whether it's just from working on the team with her or because he likes her, Numbuh 4 obviously has a soft spot for her. He gets all flustered up when she hugs him too. Second, to add to OFFICE, it was followed up by ARCTIC, where Numbuh 4 was really annoyed by Numbuh 30C. While this could be due to the fact that Numbuh 4 dislikes someone else getting so much praise or the fact that Numbuh 30C just rubs him the wrong way, there was that bit where Numbuh 30C commented where Numbuh 3 was cute and this seemed to get on Numbuh 4's nerves. I mean, Numbuh 30C didn't say, "Wow, that Numbuh 5's cute," or "Wow, your team really likes me," or anything like that. He specifically commented about Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 said something like, "What?! Let's keep on topic." There are a lot of other examples of 3/4 interaction throughout season 1. But I retract my previous point about No P in the OOL. That episode really didn't have that much 3/4 proof.

Wow. You all have some great points on where the 3/4 proof began. The next question is: In Operation B.E.A.C.H., Numbuhs 2 and 5 teased Numbuh 4 for liking Numbuh 3, how come they don't do it now?

I support 3/4 the most in this cartoon series. It is just because i think that they are ment for eachother. And also there are lots of proofs for 3/4 than for any other couples.

Actually, Tom Warburton had 3/4 in mind before the show even BEGAN.
MONTHS before the show began, there was a preview in Cartoon Cartoon Comics, featuring profiles of all the characters.
In this comic (which once again, was printed before the show even premiered), Wally's profile quite clearly said that 4 has a crush on 3.
The scan, last I remember, was available on Bizarro's site.

I'm really backing away from 3/4. No, the couple itself doesn't bother me at all (in fact, I'm glad that they represent the romance part in this show along with 1/Lizzie) but the fandom... really abused from this pairing lastly (look at the new amount of badly written 3/4 fics lastly in ff.net). More proof in an episode will let me indifferent. It is so obvious that I can't think of any "OMG surprising moment when n.4 ALMOST confesses to n.3" cracking me up now, even though I said likeàing watching OFFICE. Ugh... This post has mixed feelings

I still like 3/4, it still has its moments, but I try to ignore and stay away from "OMGZ!! 3/4 are getting MARRIED!11 3/4 3/4 3/4!!!" fanfics and overly-hyper fangirls. It makes me sick, since I can only take so romance with a couple. *chews on nails angrily*
