Man, I should lock this for stupidity alone. *sigh* And everybody is basically gonna say the same thing (that the people are ignorant, stupid, etc.), and I doubt anybody who thinks the opposite would be unwise enough to say so lest they be flamed by everyone posting here. So yeah, I'm not sure there's a use to keep this thread going.

Yeah, but some folks don't like it when a mod goes "lock-crazy", so I wasn't sure yet.
Edit: Actually, why not.

I don't think you should lock topics because of what COULD happen, if they havn't happened yet, but oh well.

Ack! Don't lock it! I haven't commented on this thread. Besides, locking something carries with it a bad stigma that fighting or something similarly drastic broke out on the topic and so the topic had to be locked. I don't think that "stupidity" is sufficient grounds to lock a topic, particularly when it has had some interesting and pertinent responses. Plus, there have been plenty of threads before (such as threads that talk about strange reviews) where everybody comes by and says the same thing (comments about how people can be so ignorant, stupid, etc.). If someone came by and actually agreed with the reviewer, they'd probably be flamed. But do we lock those threads? No. But anyway, I want to comment. Reading that thread made me sad. I mean, someone actually said this: "... so if he ain't straight, he must be ghey, or bi, both a reason to get banned on national television..." What? Since when? Also... God, his little brother is so dumb. I wish I could laugh at StarF68 right in his face. Can you believe how stupid his brother watching op. FUTURE and then he's acting gay? This member should take care of his brother. The original poster's younger brother isn't dumb or strange in any way. I had a (boy) friend when I was little who liked to play with Barbies. Who cares? At that stage in life, you're blissfully free from being judged by your peers (but I guess, not free from being judged by your own brother). I mean, even if he was gay, who cares? Trying to "teach" him to be straight would probably be more damaging to him and his self-esteem and his life than just accepting him for who he is. In all, banning television shows because they have gay undertones is like banning books because they have too much cussing. If it offends you, look elsewhere. No one is making you watch the show.

I was more offended by the sailor moon part
But I found thoes negrounds people to be stupid. Althouh I have seen an Episode where Sponge pratically admitted to be gay (Almost) I don't think it should be banned If A show DOES show Homesxuallity but doesn't make fun of it I'm all for it.

Well, that's the kind of behavior you would expect from a web site that's dominated by mature and adult content, which might give you a clue why their boards are fild with so many ignorant and intolerably people. I hardly lurk on their boards anymore.
I only go to newgrounds for the Flash movies anyway.

*Claps* This is so true. I mean, people being all "OMG!!!!!1 ThIS ShoWs Taht KidsS Sjhould bE ghey!!1!1!////" should get a life and move on. Besides, these SAME people say pokemon was invented by Satan, the world will end in 300 years, that J.K. Rowling is a Satanist, and eating Count Dracula's Cocoa Mountain cereal makes YOU a Satanist. XD Do we really think we should still believe them, even after the whole Teletubbie incident? ...according to NewGround-idiots, that answer is yes... Just wanted to say... so was I! =O Sure, TWO CHARACTERS are lesbians. But Sailor Moon has her prince! Okay, I'm done ranting... Feel free to ignore me! =O (First post, whoo!)

I know this topic hasn't been posted on in about 2 weeks, but I agree, kids under the age of 10 are don't have to be judged by their peers-- how I wish that could be true for us older ones-- like, for example, pepole actually MADE FUN OF ME because they found out I like Codename: Kids Next Door! Well, I could just as easily make fun of them because they are trying to be grown-ups when we are only adolecents! It isn't right, and that is why even though I don't know you guys, I feel like I do... ah, well, I'm done ranting and rambling. Just wanted to say that basically I don't see the point of trying to act 'mature,' if it means I can't watch Anime or KND or any of the cartoons I like. And, what is the point of being popular when you aren't being you? Well, I will definately stop now, we can all go back to our lives! xD

Ack, yes, I have to agree. I love the school I go to right now because it's made up of a bunch of weirdos like me, and they're all really nice, so I've never been made fun of for liking cartoons. But when I was in middle school, people were not so nice. I hate people who immaturely try to be mature, and then go on to belittle others for being themselves and having their own opinions.

If so many people are against homesexualty, why haven't they said anything about Yu Yu Hakusho yet(That I know of)? Yusuke's Return had alot of it in it. (Even though the lips in the dream sequence were blocked for some reason)
And about MJN's post, what episode of Spongebob was that in? I've never seen it come that close. Is it the baby scallop episode where Spongebob was the mom and Patrick was the dad?

If so many people are against homesexualty, why haven't they said anything about Yu Yu Hakusho yet? Trust me, you'll always find someone in the world who's against a certain race, sexuality, religion, etc. I think the media should be blamed for starting all this Spongebob nonsense/garbage/crap.

No one wants to be an American idiot, you know. I just notice that Squidward is gay on Squilliam Returns. While he looks Squilliam in the underwear and he said, "Oh no, he's hot!" What kind of writer would do such a thing on a cartoon? The episode when Spongebob is a mom and Patrick is a dad, it's called Rock-a-bye Bivalve. "Let's have another." Ugh, that's gross. I wanna vomit already! Yeah, the hero has fallen yet again. Operation FUTURE is not a gay episode, it's a Numbuh 4 and Sally episode! Man o le ignorancio. Those people... so sad. That part is only a cartoon, it's not real. Do you think we should have that kind of gun to shoot at boys in the future? HELL F***** NO!! It's not real and normal. You should know that. Yes, the media will blame Spongebob Homopants. Let's keep it that way.
