One of the members from Newgrounds has a little brother who was watching operation FUTURE earlier this afternoon. I said, "WTF?!" Now his little brother wants to be a girl and now he's acting gay! The member wants C:KND to be banned because of his little brother! i read this thing and yes, this post is kinda lame. How did you find out that they were talking about C:KND  (i know, stupid question, but...) I figured it out right after I went to the bathroom. I wasn't reading it so slowly so I found out about this. God, his little brother is so dumb. I wish I could laugh at StarF68 right in his face. Can you believe how stupid his brother watching op. FUTURE and then he's acting gay? This member should take care of his brother. Very seriously. He didn't talked about it but he mentioned the part of that cartoon and I know what's the cartoon coming from. I guessed the name of the cartoon and I told him to do the right freakin' thing. Yes they are stupid, according to their posts. Who cares about their silliness topics? They're so retarded, that's why.

First the guy who wrote the original post didnt even know what show its from - someone else had to tell him that. Second he probably didnt even watch entire episode so who can say where his little brother got the behavior from. Third, he ignorant - ignorant people wouldn't be able to make a good enough claim to take down most stuff - especially KND. The people reviewing his claims will laugh and brush it aside.

I posted a response on that board. It's pretty sad that people can be that ignorant. I told this idiot to teach his little brother to be straight or else both of them will be in trouble. It's never a good idea to "teach" someone to be straight. A person's romantic and sexual interest in others will develop naturally and doesn't need training. If he really turns out to be gay, which is not especially probable, it could have lasting, negative consequences. But seeing that the boy's family contains at least one homophobic member, I guess it wouldn't change much. I wouldn't worry about this one. If anything, more people are watching SpongeBob because of this nonsense. |

TV shows always get blamed for these "I'm _______!" things, but it's always just the kid. Why dosen't anybody realise that? The pink creatures in Pokemon? They're monsters. NOT PEOPLE! MONSTERS! Geez.... Sure, Spongebob does kinda seem a tad bit gay sometimes.... But that's kind of an accident. In short, he seems gay. And ultimatey, if you think that TV shows are offending, there is one ultimate thing to do! .... Turn the channel.  |

Geez, these people. It's a cartoon. You can't teach people to be gay. Homosexuals arn't going to all become straight because lots of people think it's wrong. People should just try to accept it. It's like a contoversy around here, where the paper is printing a free spanish culture paper. All these stupid people are like: Learn English or go away! It's not like you can change these things. First off, no one can just become gay. It is something that you are brought into the world with, only many don't realize it till later down the road when they don't get aroused by the opposite sex, but instead by the same sex.
Cartoons can't make you gay. It's like saying violent movies cause kids to bring guns to school and shoot people. If his brother is under the age of 10, then acting off something he saw in a show is fine.
It's funny, because he obviously knows nothing about kids. Up still a certain age, boys do dress up as girls, play house, but that doesn't mean they will become gay. It just means that when they do grow up, they will understand that a women's place isn't always in the house. That men can cook, clean, and take care of kids just as much as the women can. In the long run, it's only helping him.
I swear, people are so ignorant. Cartoons, movies, whatever can't make you into anything or make you do anything.
Anyway, one guy on that board did have a great post about it though. If they ban Spongebob and CKND for being gay or having gay undertones, then why not ban Ed, Edd, and Eddy? Kim Possible, and every other cartoon show on TV?
Let's face it. It is the 21st century. Gays and Lesbians are coming out in the open. No longer are they ashamed of what they are. So a cartoon does have some gay undertone, but is it really a bad thing?
Last point. What stops kids from watching TV shows that have gay couples? There are plenty of them out there, should they ban all those shows to?
Ugh, anyway that's the end of my rant. If you can even understand it.

Learning how to get pass differences amoung people is a good lesson for anyone. The people on the newgrounds board - I actually feel sorry for them for being so ignorant they will miss alot of stuff in life because of it. |
