Oh, i completely forgot to include this in my last post, but if you go to the CN-french site, You can watch a clip of the French Theme song.. It's completely different, but pretty cool! it's a nice way to mix things up.. i wonder if any other languages mixed up the theme song, or names?  ;D i think it'd be really interesting to see KND in japanese *goes to look at the japanese CN site* *edit* I'm not sure if Japan has KND or not yet, But they have a little bit of KND things on their site.. maybe they will be getting it soon? www.cartoonnetwork.co.jp/monkeybird/default.asp#01 |

hehe i forgot to go to this French site so i misunderstood the names when i watched KND in French(so FORGET my last reply). Thanx Juliefoo 4 giving the real names  Oh an one of the only things that i liked especially in French was operation: DATE , when the DCFDTL teased Numbuh 1 by calling him "Réginaldouuu" (when Lizzie did it it was even more funny, but the 'Réginald' name is still freaky to my eyes ) As 4 the other names, well the original version of them seem... i dunno... better in my opinion, but that's just me! As you live in France, i truly understand you (English is neither my native language).  |

I heard voices of KND in japanese!
& It was good... until I notice Numbuh 5's voice
actor was man! Well, ppl said u'll get used to it...
but i'm so used to listening them in English! XD

I have the pleasure of seeing KND in Hungarian. Most hungarian cartoon dubs on CN aren't too good, but this is an exception. - I actually like the hungarian voice actors better. - They managed to translate every KND episode and gadget acronym in a way it makes sense! (That's really something if you think about it.) There are also a few weird things I noticed, however: - The show has two titles, neither too good. In the show, they translate KND as "Rémkölykök", which roughly means "Grisly Kids". No kidding. And on CN's commercials, they name the show: "Kölyök, Nem Dedós", trying to keep the acronym, but this translates to: "Kids, but not toddlers". That makes even less sense... - The codenames are actually pet names. The "Numbuh" part can't be translated, so they keep the numbers in a pet form. Example: Numbuh 5. 5 is "Öt" in hungarian, but she is called "Ötöske", like the pet name of István (Steven) is Istvánka. I have no idea how to translate that back to english... Fivey, perhaps?  I must note, however, that I think the tranlators made a good decision: Without the pet forms the codenames would've been too formal. - Lizzie calls Nigel "Esze", which means "Brainy". - The accents are gone, the only thing they managed to translate is Abby's third-person way of speaking. I think that's all I can say about the hungarian dub right now. |

hehe i was wrong in some points cuz Hoagie=Mimi I was expecting the French version to be dubbed in Quebec (with the freaky accent ) but everyone' got a French one if you listen carefully, especially Numbuh 4 n 5. But this accent doesn't fit with n.1 at all! (cmon, he's British...) Awww, you lucky fools! Some had the chance to see it in Hungarian, some in Japanese, in Spanish, etc... *curses her tv programmation for being only bilingual* |
