With a topic like this, doesn't it seem like a flame war could erupt at anytime?  Personally, I do find her annoying at times, but she's still needed on the show. Her relationship with Numbuh One is somewhat funny, in my opinion. |

There is nothing that irratates me more then character bashers. If you don't like a character for whatever reason, that's great. You're human. If you are so immature that you feel that the only way people will believe you when you say that you hate _____ character is by bashing him/her, then you are beyond contempt.
If you write fanfiction and the character you hate is in it, then you're either going to have to try and hide your negative feelings towards whoever, or you have no business writing fanfic to begin with. I don't care if you think Numbah 4 should die a slow painful death, he is still the close-combat expert of the team and the other characters like him. I don't care if you hate Lizzie; she's Numbah 1's girlfriend and HE likes her. If you can't see this, pretend you do or stop writing fanfic.
If you write a fanfiction that bashes a fanfiction, you should quite frankly be ashamed of your immaturity. You should defineatly NOT advertise the story to other people, even if they do hate the character the story bashes. It's fine to hate a character, but it's NOT something you should take pride in. And, if you do take pride in it, you still should be aware that A) it's very immature and B) if you write a story with him/her in it and bash _____, it is not cool OR funny. It is pathetic.
Want an example? I hate Numbah 1. Really I do. Do I bash him? No. Do I write him out of my stories and ignore him? No. I tolerate him, and I try extra hard to keep him mostly in character, because that is the mature thing to do... and then I talk to my friends and whine about how annoying it is to write a story with him in it. ^.~ Not open threads on forums or write stories where half the point is to bash or make fun of him. Do I sound stuck up? Yes, but the point still stands.
So, in summary: Character Bashing for any reason = Stupid and immature. Summary's moral: Parron likes to rant and is opinionated.

I hate bad grammar...I've never understood why people can't take the few extra seconds to capitalize things, use apostrophes, and so on. It makes things so much easier (and nicer) to read...
As for Lizzie...one thing that's always annoyed me is that people always say she's bad because whenever she appears, she causes some kind of problem. But I mean, let's think here. Not every single moment of the KND's life is captured in the episodes. I mean, they've got to be doing SOMETHING between the episodes (okay, it's just a cartoon, but bear with me). My point is that for all we know, Lizzie is perfectly fine most of the time, it's just that the parts of the character's lives we see on the show she's annoying.

Hey, you opened the door. And I fail to see what I assumed about ANYONE... and I fail to see how you assume I'm talking about you when I mention people that annoy me. So who's reading into who?
On the other hand, I wish you had left the counter-arguement up. I didn't even SEE it, which I think is the point of counter-arguements. I'm really highly curious....
(And, for the record, I've never once considered you "cute" in any sense of the word. ^__~)

Seriously, what, am I cute when I'm riled or something? i re-read this entire thread and fail to see where she says *anything* about you anywhere. she's talking about people who irritate her - if, by your own choice, you choose to include yourself in that group, why is it her who is making unwarrented assumptions? there is no assumption being made. you're reading into it. maybe people argue with you because they don't agree with you, james. jeeze. Editing something to remove a counter arguement before your opponent has a chance to see it totally defeats the concept of debate. on another note- parron, who is the idiot One reminds you of? might it be a mutual aquantinence? |

So we only get a few glimpses at her personality. More important characters like Kuki appear a lot more, so we can be fairly certain their personalities are as is. Plus, Lizzie's personality seems to shift from episode to episode, making me wonder if in the episodes we're only seeing one extreme side of her. Characters like Kuki are more or less consistent, personality-wise. But then again, that's just my opinion... |
