This episode was one of the few episodes that brought tears to my eyes. I was eleven years old when I saw it for the first time. ^^ Wow. Who knew how fast time really flies. Madonna's totally wrong.

Man, GROWUP is possibly my most favorite episode in Season 1. It's great, it's the first 30 minute KND episode, and the first appearance of Father.

Operation GROWUP is one of my favorite episodes... In this episode, I realized how super kawaii Numbuh 1 really is in the Ice Cream suit when he turned back into a kid. >.< It is really a K-E-W-L show!

I think this episode is one of those that shows Numbuh 1 that there is no 'I' in 'Team'; his team helps him more than he sometimes wants to accept.

Okay, this is a little late to post on this, but I find this episode fascinating in retrospect. It sets so many precedents for the rest of the series. For instance, it's the first mention we hear of the infamous "decommissioning" process, and the first real appearance of "Father." It wrestles with some ideas of kiddom and adulthood that go through up to INTERVIEWS. It's the first time the DCFDTL speak out of turn.
The animation stinks in more than one spot, and the dialogue at times is pretty cruddy, but the episode itself is awesome just for all the ideas it raises.

I wonder why Adult Mr. Uno and Adult President Uno looked different I think because they are differant ages. I also think that with the Numbuh 2 teenager thing. |

Also, President Uno was part of a 'Fantasy' Numbuh Infinity and his companion used to test Nigel so they pretty much could do as they wished with him.

I felt bad for Nigel to turn into an adult and be mean to his friends. I wish that he would be more nicer to his friends than just be nice to the adults. Then the scene where Nigel's friends in a box?! That was just... sad.

Something kinda happens to you once you to become an adult. I should know because I'm 22. Sometimes I forget a couple of things, especially how to be a child at heart. It's not easy achieve a balance between being a child at heart and mature enough to take responsibilities seriously, kinda like Nigel when he's a kid.

It was definitly my favorite episode of season 1 by far. 1, because Nigel relized that he needs more people besides him to win a fight, and 2... Father!

It definitly shows that Numbuh 5 is supposed to be in charge, but Numbuh 4 takes charge like he did in CANNON, which is interesting.

Well, that means that numbuh 4 can be a good leader, or more or less, as I say it before in another post from op. END that in that moment I confuse it with this episode (I don´t know why, and sorry guys for post bad) I said:
"is really sweet that episode, I love the attitude of numbuh 4 to cheer up his team. In that moment, he demostrates that he can be a good leader if he doesn´t became bossy. "
that means that if he do it naturally, he´s a good leader that cheer up his friends and try to make it bettuh, but when he wants to ba a leader (nearly all time) he became bossy and anoying.
