^*points to what I just said* I think what k34 was commenting on was how a topic like this just happened to occur when all the admins were on vacation. To be honest, I'm surprised more trolls aren't taking advantage of this golden opportunity. Note to admins: It isn't a good idea to publicly state that you're on vacation and leaving the board defenseless. Granted, you're not, because trolls still have to get past the almighty James... ^__^ |

I can not get offended by these trolls and instead turn them into recreation.
See, trolls work by trying their darndest to make people angry. The absolute bane of trolls, is someone who absolutely refuses to let their trolling drive them to anger. Even worse is someone who (like me) takes posts meant to be destructive, and turns them into something that inspires (or, at least, is supposed to inspire) laughter.
That's my way of dealing with it, at least.

it's pretty sad that some people just join forums to make fun of what they are about............do they have no life and cannot go play with inmaginery friends or play a card game with their family? I guess they love their computers too much or are very lazy and can't get out of a chair without almost getting a heartattack. I just want to say this: Bravo meninwhite and hakewire for having no life.

Usually, Trolling is all about one thing: Attention.
People like "Drainage Ratio" ^__^ (That's just too funny to ignore) and Meninwhite have (or think they have) no talents. They can't write fanfics, they can't draw fanart, they don't have any interesting insights to share. So they become frustrated, and take out their rage while at the same time getting the attention they crave in the one way any average joe can succeed: By angering others.
Trolling is all about getting fifteen minutes of fame without doing anything to actually merit it.

lol, i like to get people mad cuz it's fun ^_^ until i get hit, that is. Then i just play world of warcraft. And Meninwhite is now called "Stupid" and "VERY stupid" and "Uber stupid"
