I shouldn't say all women's writing is distinct, but look at the main vampire boy in Twilight. The perfect gentleman. Way too perfect, if you know what I mean. LOL ;D That's true I never liked perfect characters (Shudders...) I just finished reading the sisterhood of the traveling pants, my gosh, that book got me crying ;(

Well, currently I'm about to be reading text books. Whee. But I really want to read one of those ALICE books for fun(the new one that comes out in June), or To Kill a Mocking Bird... Those alice books by phyllis renyolds naylor, I LOVE those books, they are awesome. Its a big series starts in the kids section, but still cool. To kill a mockingbird, good book, to bad were not reading it in english class instead were watching the movie and doing a project over it. Alabama in the 30s we have to make a newspaper, including the trial of somebody..... Cool books that your going to read, by the way.... I LOVE that series. I've been reading them all ever since middle school. My brother once read them and got all mad at me because they taked about "girl" parts and stuff I already knew about...I can't wait for the next book... and I've been dying to read TO Kill a mocking bird, but everytime I want to get the book my library is all checked out. guess everyone has to read that book for school i've seen the movie, tho. Last year i gave my cousin a "book gift basket" of some of my favorite books I read around her age. I gave her Holes, and The Outsiders, two of my most favorite books. I was appalled when I learned she was reading Twilight, so I had to come to the rescue with some good classic books

you picked good books for her. Holes and the Outsiders are exellent. And yes twilight is kinda bad, but thats just me. I don't have a thing for vampire books. Hehe girl parts, at some point they mentioned Pamela pregnant for a short while. To kill a mockingbird is pretty good, just slow at the beginning.

I love To Kill a Mockingbird, the book has a great message as well as a brilliant introduction and ending (it comes around as a circle)...anyhoo I am not giving any spoilers to it (hopefully). I am planning on re-reading "The Turn of the Screw" by Henry James. It's a great classic book

i tried reading those lurlene McDaniel books, aren't they the ones that are all about boys and dying or something, or maybe i'm thinking of a different series. I probably am though. Its nice to have another person's view point on a book. I finished impossible it took me 2 hours but i finished, now i'm starting a booked called bog child.

I'm reading "The Night of the living Dummy 3" it's a Goosebumps book! I found it in my closet and I'm reading it. Sadly I'm almost halfway done after reading it for 45 minutes. It's a short book and I'm a fast reader! I'll have it done tonight.
I might read my RENT bible later. =)
In case your wondering Allie....It DOES exsist lol and you know I'm obsessed enough to own it.

The Turn of the Screw, I like getting other peoples opinion on books before i read them. a good opinion means good book in my mind. I love to read just about anything though, any thing expect for my math book, it hates me and i hate it.

The hunger games But i ruined what happened in the last book by reading the last chapter in the store. I just had to know if Peeta and katniss get together.
