I agree about Tyra Banks. Screw Oprah for getting all these people famous for their nonexistant likability. Her talk show is pathetic too. I'm not a big fan of talk shows (although there is the occassional one that can get interesting); Tyra's show pretty much sums up why I dislike them. It's not good when the viewer actually feels like a fully mature genius with a sense of respect compared to the host.

That is the same thing with the host of TDI/TDA (Chris McClean voiced by Christian Potenza). And they put the same guy who was in 6Teen (the skater guy,Jude)(which the show I also dislike) as Chris.TDI was good, but Chris was one of the things I didnt like about TDI and the same with TDA (and the upcoming Total Drama The Musical)

I had to look up TDI/TDA; unfortunately, I don't know what that is. Goes to show how out of it I am. But I do know 6teen (Canadian show. Woot! Not something to be proud of, but not something to be ashamed of either I suppose.) Actually, speaking of cartoons, be honest: How many of you guys watch The Simpsons regularly (or used to)?

Not in my case. ;;
I must be the only person on this planet who thinks this show is overrated. I watched one of the earlier episodes in the early or mid-1990s, and I didn't think much of it. I never watched it again, until I realized everybody else did, so I gave it another chance in the early 2000s. Oh, Lord, is it unentertaining. It's the Seinfeld of the cartoon world.
I'll admit, it has improved over the years, but it's still not that good. And I actually do like the show Family Guy, so naturally, people tell me that I'll enjoy The Simpsons. Not the case. *shrug*

Ouch. Seinfeld was to me the greatest sitcom of all time. The only shows I have ever enjoyed more were HBO's series like The Sopranos, The Wire, and Larry David's current project Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Now to The Simpsons. It was a once-great show. Aside from the occasional down season, it could do no wrong. When it was hot, there was nothing funnier. However, since about 2004, the writing has fallen off a cliff. When Sideshow Bob can't save an episode, it's time to hang it up. I still watch it, but I don't care if I miss an episode now and then. Although, the season premiere was actually pretty funny. Overall, they tend to do better with character-driven episodes than story-driven ones.
Has anyone seen The Cleveland Show yet? I thought Seth MacFarlane would be stretching himself too thin with three projects at once, but so far, the first two episodes have been entertaining.

The Simpsons it depends on the season. It is getting a little old, but I did love the movie. I think Family Guy is overrated....the jokes are far too forumulaic ("That reminds me of the time I [blank] with [blank] while [blank]", cut scene to mentioned moment). I do love American Dad, though.

No offense to anyone, but I hate South Park. The day that show does something appropiate, I'll watch it...

Eh. It's really all just opinion-based I suppose. They're not bad shows; I just didn't like them. I mean, how many people would actually agree with me when I say that Friends is crap? Not many.
It's hard to find the jokes in Seinfeld. The actors say something, the audience erupts into laughter, and I'm sitting there thinking, "....Back up. What was the funny part?" I mean, once you back up and think about them, it's like, "Eh. Okay, there it is, but it wasn't that funny." It's amazing how many people do like it though. So it's probably just my stupid sense of humour getting in the way.
I honestly had no clue that existed. I thought it was like The Drew Carey Show and took place in Cleveland. But a spin-off of Family Guy? Wow. XD
*laughs* Oh man, what things I could say about the hilariousness of South Park.

going back, I really hate Jennifer Aniston now (not as a person, but she is the same gosh-darn character in every movie and series, and thusly I don't think she's even acting. No me gusta), so I don't enjoy reruns of Friends like I did when it aired (other than my deep love of the Chandler/Monica relationship). Seinfeld I've never really gotten....mainly because I don't think Jerry Seinfeld is funny. His stand up leaves much to be desired.
South Park...has its moments. The episode on Scientology was hilarious, and the World of Warcraft one was done excellently in my opinion, but there are times that they are just too vulgar for me to sit through, and I'm not fond of 'cursing for the sake of cursing'.

No offense to anyone, but I hate South Park. The day that show does something appropiate, I'll watch it... I love South Park, and when people say they want it to do something approipate, that to me, I don't know. The show is vulgar, because it is. Matt and Trey won't ever be "approipate" because that is just not something they'd do. They created the movie for the sake of swearing, and they never give a shit about what others think...and oddly, never have been sued. It's dirty humor because it is. That's pretty much all that needs to be said.

*raises hand* Right here.
I actually did like Friends in its first season or two. Like Seinfeld, I found the characters funny with their curious personality traits and numerous failed attempts at dating. The jokes and interactions could be amusing. However, when it came to the story, it suffered from extremely lazy writing. In the early seasons, Ross' feelings for Rachel were a secret to everyone else, and an amusing running joke was his inability to make it known. When they finally pulled the trigger on it, it became the entire series, and they went more for the "Awww" factor as they became an on-again, off-again couple. Then they did the exact same thing for Chandler and Monica. The rest of the series just became one bad fanfiction cliche after another. And in the meantime, they got rid of the funny supporting characters like Mr. Hinkles, the Ugly Naked Guy, and Marcel the Monkey and replaced them with dull, forgettable ones.
Another completely not-funny sitcom was Home Improvement. That was a show where I would hear the joke, and say "why was that funny?" It's beyond belief that it could beat Seinfeld in the ratings. Tim Allen is a human comedy vacuum.
South Park is probably the best show not on premium channels right now. It is also the most relevant show out there, as I tend to agree with Trey and Matt politically when they express their views (though both it and Family Guy have both gotten on the preachy side as of late). For all its crudeness and profanity, there is often (though by no means always) a social message at the end.
The reason Trey and Matt have never been sued is because they make fun of public figures, who are fair grounds for satire under the First Amendment. Because they don't hold their depictions of celebrities and politicians out to be true statements, there would be no case.

Tom Cruise almost sued them for saying he was in the closet. Its quite funny because the character was IN a closet. South Park is just great. I hate Family Guy. IDK...i just do. And I HATE all those ABC sitcoms like secret life...SO fake.

The only thing I've seen of that is the previews on CMT, and I was wondering why the heck it was so well-known. Is he known for making sound effects of dogs or something? Is that a running gag on the show?
While I give Tim Allen kudos for some of his previous work (the most obvious one being...obvious), I was never really fond of him. Wild Hogs wasn't worth my ten seventy-five.
