Just want to throw in my two cents about Nick vs. Disney:
My kids don't watch Disney live action at ALL. They (well, my son) said their shows are "boring".
The girls don't like Hannah Montana, and even though my 6 yo has a HSM Sharpay doll, she doesn't like the movie...go figure.
OTOH, the kids watch iCarly and Drake & Josh all the time. *I* like Drake & Josh. They have great comic chemistry. The plots are silly, but I find myself laughing a lot.
Disney is on the least in my house. The kids watch Toon Disney from time to time, but regular Disney? Nope. None of my kids ever got into Playhouse Disney, either, not that all the Nick Jr. shows are the greatest (I can't STAND Dora & Diego, but The Backyardigans is adorable).

Right now iCarly, Drake and Josh, and Naked Brothers Band are probably the only shows worth watching on Nick. Drake and Josh are like the next Kenan and Kel. It's rare to see one without the other. iCarly is pretty funny sometimes, but mainly because of spencer.

Amazing, someone else here remembers Kenan and Kel. Also loved All That in its early days. There was recently a rumor Lori Beth Denberg died, but I haven't seen it confirmed.
As for Disney, The Suite Life can be funny at times. It hasn't jumped the shark yet, but it is approaching the ramp at rampaging speed.

Well, obviously. I mean, what modern sit-com doesn't imply sex humor into their show? (Never mind. There are probably some that can't come to me at the moment.) Let me rephrase what I said. It doesn't reference as much sex as Friends does. Plus, Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer are really good actors. Like, really good. Not exaggerated, amateur Hannah Montana good, but good good. I'm probably just frustrated because Friends was so overrated. Nah, I'm pretty sure from what I've seen Two and a Half Men does the sex stuff more. Plus, Friends usually had a more consistent TV-PG rating. Two and a Half Men was usually TV-14 from what I saw. Ergo, Two and a Half Men was more explicit or whatever. I do agree that the show's pretty good and Friends is overrated, though.

People have also rumored Kel is dead, and they once rumored Drake Bell is dead.(probably when he had is big car accident)

The first season of The Suite Life had me laughing like crazy. The newer episodes really aren't as good as the old ones. It lost its spark.

I've been watching episode after episode whenever I get the chance, and it's just.. not funny. So I stopped watching it. You know what's pretty good? Hope and Faith.

@suite Life I tend to find some of it funny the first time I see it, but I rarely laugh during the reruns. More than anything, though, I actually think it's the overly-cheesy acting and, in one or two episodes, the so-cheap-it's-actually-funny special effects that draw my attention. That sounds so weird, but it's true.
@two and a Half Men DEFINITELY much more explicit than Friends, I can assure you. Although I think most of the episodes with heavy sexual references were actually in the first season (or at least the ones that instantly come to mind). Though I believe what makes Two and a Half Men more 'shocking' is the fact that while Charlie gets on with his active and complicated love life, there's a ten-year-old kid living in his house, who is often aware of what he's up to. Some of it's like the forum's caption contest in sitcom form. XD (well... sorta)
@d&J slash To be honest I really can't get to grips with Drake and Josh as a slash couple. Not only because they are step brothers in the show, but because we know they both like girls. A lot (particularly Drake). Craig and Eric on the other hand... well I can see why their moments could be considered slash but for the sake of it being a Nickelodeon show, we know it can't happen canonically. Not something I support, but I think Craig and Eric slash makes more sense. Just my opinion.

@d/J slash It makes more sense for Craig/Eric. Way more sense. I'm sorry, but Nickolodien obviously planned for Craig and Eric to be a couple, before they put it on Nick. :] They are gay for each other. Thay have own vacations that they both go on together. They shout gay! to me. Drake and Josh on the other hand, aren't as slashier as you think. It's more of hidden slash than straight out. It's more so of how the lenghs they will go to make the other happy

Any "slash" that I see in a kid's show is purely fandom and non-canon to me.
Well of course. They're brothers, aren't they? It's possible for guys to be close without being a couple.

... Why haven't I posted here yet... I love TV! But I've gotten SICK of The Disney Channel and Teen Nick. I think I've grown out of it, though. I used to love the Disney Channel, and some of the recent Teen Nick stuff... But I just don't find it funny anymore. But the classics, I still enjoy. I miss All That, Kenan and Kel, and The Amanda Show. D: But now I like more shows like: Lost, Friends, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, MST3K, Avatar: The Last Airbender, That 70's Show, Whose Line, The Soup, Best Week Ever, SNL, Conan O' Brien, Heroes, 30 Rock, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Bleach, Death Note, House... I'm forgetting some, but yeah... I enjoy a little variety. Um, hey, speaking of The Disney Channel, does anyone remember that show based on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids?

" Any het I see in a kid's show is purely fandom and non-canon to me." Yeah, but Drake and Josh just act couplishish. Theres a million proofs about that. Now, Eric and Craig are gay for each other. There is nothing that will change my mind about them. There gay, they love each other. They go on little vacations together, go to saturday morning sales for petunia's together, and are seen basically everywhere together. Gay nerds. I like The Soup. It's sooo funny. The Amanda show was awesome. I kinda would like to see it again, if It ever shows. Oh, and I' *heart* death note. Tho, I'm more of a fan of the manga then the tv show. Oh what! I think it was called" Honey I shrunk the kids:the tv show." Actually that's what's it called. According to wiki. Never saw it that I know of. i wish boy meets world came on again. I miss seeing that show.
