Alright, kiddies, time to bring a fun holiday activity to the forum: Secret Santas!
For anyone who hasn't done this before, forum members will sign up to participate in the activity and then will randomly receive the name of another participating member. You will be their Secret Santa! Once you've been assigned a person, you'll keep it secret! Don't tell anyone, not even your closest friend, whose name you've received. You'll have approximately one month to come up with some sort of virtual gift to give to your person, and around Christmas you'll reveal your identity and give the person their present. Sound fun?
Rules/Guidelines
1. This activity is open to ALL REGISTERED MEMBERS of the forum.
2. Members who want to participate must leave a message to this post. By doing this, you become someone's Secret Santa, and someone becomes your Secret Santa. I will draw random names from a hat, so it will be completely random!
3. If you'd like, you may specify in your sign-up post what KND characters and/or pairings you like so that your Secret Santa knows just what to give you. If you've already made a sign-up post and want to go back and modify, that's fine, too. (This is optional since most members already have their favorites specified in their signatures.)
4. The gift you will give can be an icon, a signature, a fanfic, a layout, a piece of fanart... anything virtual that you can think of! Be creative and have fun with this!
5. Once you receive a name, you MUST be ready to give that person a gift! I'm not familiar with who is friends and who is not, so no matter who you are paired with, you must be able to give them something. ALSO, you still MUST give them a present even if they happen to like characters or pairings that you don't support. If the person you are assigned loves 1/5 but you only support 2/5, you must still provide a gift for them. It's only fair that everyone who signs up and receives a name participates.
6. Virtual gifts will be given on or before Christmas Day. That is to say that if you know you are not going to have internet access on December 25th, you MUST send your gift before Christmas, not after.
7. The deadline for signing up is November 15th, after which you will receive the name of the person whose Santa you'll be in a PM from me, so don't forget to check your inboxes after that date.
