Just put info on an active thread next time, and don't resurrect mummified threads. That's all. Thanks.

But what if we want to say something, but we can't because that would be "resurrecting" old threads? I was under the impression that we weren't allowed to start new threads on something that already has a thread.

The only threads that we sort of encourage people to keep posting on are the episodes threads. This guy could have posted this info on the TREATY thread instead of this one. The Main, Other Main, and Romance threads archive very quickly, which is why the staff discourages posting in them if they're over a month old. (It says two weeks in the Rules, but I'm stretching it out a bit.)

I still have two questions: 1. So are we allowed to post on episode forums even when they're over two weeks old? 2. I still don't understand why that rule exists. I mean it can't hurt to post something in a thread that's old.

Hmm. I don't know, but I think the episode threads would be an exception. After all, no matter how many months or years old an episode is, it still finds its way back for discussion. ^^

The rule came about because we had an awful lot of people bumping very old threads simply to say something very very VERY stupid. It got old and annoying, so *poof*, the rule was created.
That doesn't seem to happen in episode threads, for some reason. It got really bad in Main, Other Main and the "Other" boards.
