KND couldnt be portrayed in real action. Some of the things they do like falling a long way and a bomb exploding in someone's face would be really retarded in a real movie.

It could be done but it would be kind of like Home Alone. I doubt there would be laser guns and all the fictional flying craft but I bet there could be a huge tree house. The villains wouldnt be the same either except maybe father and he wouldnt have fire powers either. I could see a delightful children but they all wouldnt talk at the same time. That would be phony. Unless their eyes glowed blue and they didnt blink. The toilinator would not be in the movie. That would be lame also. I could not see adults with ice cream guns. I dont know what weapons adults would use but I dont know if they would have real guns because that might be too violent for the kids. Maybe tranqualizers? But the KND could use ice cream and mustard guns. There would be no moon base and flying vehicles. A large treehouse and maybe a few lesser complicated land vehicles. If they included all the stuff from the show then it would be too little kiddie for me and I would not see it.

wow, you really have.
Computer graphics is that advanced thses days, you can have all that AND a talking donkey! well....not exactly a talking....never mind. But theyd be able to pull everything off in a live action movie that occurs in the show. Trust me, 3d animation is that easy to make real these days....i should know!
as for full animation, that would be nice....to a point. See, the game was pretty awesome at first, but then the interest in the characters being 3d-mised was lost for me.
and people actually becoming the characters seems more interesting to me for some reason. really coz i want them to find someone who can pull off characters like Fanny and Father

If there were to be another KND movie, then I'd probably want it to be another animated one. However, I still think the live action KND idea would be really interesting. I'm not so sure about it being a whole movie, but maybe just a 22 minute show? At least then, if the live action thing isn't a success then it won't be a huge disaster if it's not as big in the first place.
That of course is how to play the live action special safer, but the reason why I'd want another movie - that's animated - is because the quality of animation in KND has potential and is also pretty amazing compared to a lot of TV cartoon shows nowadays. I still think the 3D effects they used in ZERO gave it a wonderful finishing touch, so I'll root for that too. ♥

But thats just my opinion. A realy movie with 5 people who talk at the same time, a guy on fire, a moonbase where little kids run around and laser guns just seems like a movie targeted to audiences younger than the cartoon's audience itself. The cartoon is Y7 which means it is for people 7 and older. This movie would be like just plain Y or G which is the Barney audience. Well not saying all G movies are that way but a lot sure are.

NO. Having a load of annoying, snotty real life 10 year olds replace the animated characters would be just silly.

Hello you guys seem to be forgetting spy kids and how huge that load of turd turn out to be despite it's corniness
Kid's next door would probably be like that only cooler lol
i'd say they should have tom kenny do toilenator considering that he's the voice actor and that he acts on the side as well, hehe i would love to see how he would look with the suit on. I'd be funny lol

Ew, no. If it's animated, keep it animated. And animation/live action movies rarely work, with the exception of a few greats such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Because that movie was AWESOME. ...what, it was! xD But anyway, live action animations weird me out a little. Ever seen the live-action Sailor Moon series? That was laughable at best. What about the live-action Mario movie? Bowser wasn't Bowser, goombas weren't goombas and Luigi didn't even have a mustache. I can't help but think that's what it'd wind up like.

Oh and if the live animated film comes into fuition. They will use a different sector (ie make one up) as in not to ruin the main charactors ruined. I don't think I've seen one child actor who could seriously pull it off (Someone said Dakota Fanning once for 362, but I dunno Every film shes in involves her screaming I find). It could be done but it would be kind of like Home Alone. Was I the only one with an image of Father, Mr Boss and the Toiletnator scaling the tree house after a kids toy with a chip inside it. (Junky HA3 reference.) My vote definatly for animated.

Let's talk about what animation is, for a second. Its a picture that moves, and pictures can convey a lot, a sense of other-worldliness. Live action simply cannot do this.
I recently saw an episode of Night Gallery that serves as a perfect example. The episode was called Pickman's Model, based on the Lovecraft story of the same name. The episode involved a painter who was notorious for painting disturbing images, often involving monsters. Now, you actually get to see his paintings and yes, they are pretty gosh-darn creepy. I could imagine that a big-budget animated film using the same style as those paintings would be a bigger nightmare-inducer than any live-action horror film ever could.
Then later in the episode, you actually get to see one of those monsters in the flesh and... its just not creepy. Its impossible to see the darn thing and not think "that's a man in a costume."
Now, this is the part where you say that Night Gallery was a cheesy low-budget 70s show, and mention how today we have CGI. But... CGI sucks. I'm sorry, but it really does. I have never seen a CGI effect that was convincing, whether it be in Jurassic Park or in some overrated Peter Jackson movie. Every time I see a CGI effect, it has the exact same effect on me as a man in a costume does. I just see it and I'm no longer immersed, because I know its CGI. The filmmakers haven't found a good way to make CGI really mesh.
For another example of CGI's total lack of ability to do anything right, if you're an anime fan and don't mind returning to VHS briefly, look up the OVA's "Mermaid Forest" and "Mermaid Scar," watch them, and note how truly stand-out the Lost Souls are in those OVAs (especially Mermaid Scar). Now rent a few DVDs of the recent "Mermaid Forest" TV Series and notice how totally fake those same Lost Souls look.
So, in the end, my vote is for animated.

Hey, does anybody remember when they made the live action movie for Inspector Gadget? I watched the cartoon for that all the time, and the movie was pretty darn awesome! ^__^ Atleeste it was for kids... but that's what's important in a kids movie. I haven't seen the movie in several years, but I think if I watch it now, I'll still love it.
